04 / A DAY ON THE WATER

LESS GUESSWORK.
MORE LOOKING FORWARD.

From the first hello to the last cast.
Here’s how your charter comes together.

01

Pick your day

Share your preferred date and group size. Steve confirms availability before anything is booked.

02

Make it yours

Once your date is agreed, the published charter deposit is £200. Your details and joining information stay together.

03

The skipper’s call

The balance is due after a positive weather decision, usually within 48 hours of the trip. Safety comes first.

04

Meet at Mylor

A typical day starts at 07:30 with a briefing and returns around 17:00. Timings can be flexible.

Weather changes. Your options stay clear. If the crew cancels for weather, the published options are a transfer to another available date or a refund of deposit payments.

BEFORE YOU COME ABOARD

A FEW
GOOD QUESTIONS.

Where do we meet?

Bluefin trips depart from Mylor Yacht Harbour, Churchtown, near Falmouth, TR11 5UF. The skipper confirms your meeting time. Paid parking is available at the harbour.

What do I need to bring?

Bring a packed lunch, clothing suited to the forecast and waterproof, non-slip footwear. It can be cold at sea even in summer. Tea, coffee and bottled water are offered when time allows.

Do I need my own equipment?

All fishing tackle is included. The crew uses stand-up fishing with a harness and provides assistance. If you own a stand-up harness, the official guidance says you are welcome to bring it. Discuss any accessibility or fitness questions with Steve before booking.

How do payments work?

The published private charter deposit is £200, with the remaining balance due after the skipper’s positive weather decision. BACS is preferred. No money is taken on this concept website.

Can I book something other than bluefin fishing?

The official site also lists wildlife watching, corporate trips, sightseeing and other specialist charters. Ask Steve about the trip you have in mind. RYA training is booked through Powerboat Training UK.
